The diesel particle filter (DPF), also known as soot particle filter or simply particle filter, has the task of filtering health-endangering particles out of the exhaust system. In addition, the particle filter burns the soot that has collected on the filter pockets.
931 Particulate Filter Cleaner
Non-flammable, metal-free special cleaner for cleaning off soot and ash deposits in the particulate filter. Evaporates without leaving residue. The unique wetting properties enable the cleaner to loosen and clean off soot and ash deposits from porous honeycomb structures as are present in the particulate filter.
